Kathy Lester, BSc. LHG
Applied Environmental Geologist
Experience:
An Applied Environmental Geologist, with 12 years experience in design and management of complex environmental investigations, including remedial investigation/feasibility studies, facility operations, maintenance, and monitoring. For three years prior to bdginning Earthworks Environmental, Kathy Lester worked as a Superfund program manager for the Environmental Affairs Office of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI). Conducting technical review of all program documents, contractor oversight, and representing NASWI in negotiations with State (WDOE) and Federal (EPA) regulatory agencies. These efforts in combination with others resulted in NASWI winning the first Department of Defense (DOD) Installation Restoration Award in 1994.
